About Us

The wind in Kuchikau does not just blow — it whispers.

Years ago, in the quiet, sun-drenched solitude of that North Central bush, a persistent, gentle "nudging" began in the heart of our Founder. Looking out at the dust-covered paths of the hinterland, she didn't just see poverty or lack; she saw a hidden, radiant beauty — children whose eyes held the sparkle of untapped brilliance, waiting for the key of education to unlock their cages.

That nudging soon found a voice, gathering passionate educators and selfless supporters into one mission: URIECHO Child Education Foundation. Today, it has transformed the lives of more than 1,500 children, parents, educators and students.

"To see the beauty in the unseen, respond with love, and never stop listening to the nudges that call us to serve." — The URIECHO Promise
